Regroupement des centres d’amitié autochtones du Québec
Native Friendship Centres are welcoming spaces and service hubs that offer culturally relevant and safe support for Indigenous people living in cities across Quebec. They provide a variety of services to Indigenous parents and families, including:
- support for families, no matter what the need is
- psychosocial support for children, parents, and families
- respite services for parents
- workshops and activities for parents
- health clinics
- and more
The Regroupement des centres d’amitié autochtones du Québec (RCAAQ) is the provincial association that represents Friendship Centres in Quebec. For 45 years, it has worked to defend the rights and interests of Indigenous people living in cities while supporting the work of the 11 Friendship Centres and their 3 service hubs across the province.
